Resumen

Este estudio analiza la influencia de la gobernanza universitaria en el valor académico percibido por los estudiantes de la Universidad Nacional de Tumbes, mediante un enfoque cuantitativo basado en Modelos de Ecuaciones Estructurales (SEM). La muestra estuvo conformada por 394 estudiantes y se utilizó un cuestionario estructurado que evaluó las dimensiones de transparencia, participación estudiantil y rendición de cuentas, así como la percepción sobre calidad académica, infraestructura y servicios de apoyo. Los resultados evidencian una relación positiva y significativa (β = 0.798; p < 0.001), explicando el 63.6% de la varianza del valor académico percibido (R² = 0.636). Se concluye que la gobernanza universitaria constituye un factor clave para fortalecer la experiencia educativa y la legitimidad institucional, recomendándole políticas orientadas a la transparencia y la participación activa.
