Realidad aumentada para el aprendizaje en educación superior y su impacto pedagógico
Augmented reality for learning in higher education and its pedagogical impact

La integración de tecnologías emergentes en los entornos educativos universitarios ha generado nuevas oportunidades para enriquecer los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje. En este contexto, la realidad aumentada (RA) se ha consolidado como herramienta innovadora al posibilitar la superposición de información digital sobre el entorno físico y promover la interacción con objetos virtuales. El presente estudio analiza los efectos del uso de aplicaciones de RA en el aprendizaje de estudiantes universitarios, considerando variables como la motivación académica, la comprensión conceptual y el desempeño académico. La investigación se desarrolló bajo un enfoque cuantitativo con diseño cuasiexperimental de tipo pretest-postest con un solo grupo. La población estuvo conformada por 433 estudiantes de educación superior; se seleccionó una muestra de 68 participantes mediante muestreo probabilístico aleatorio simple. La muestra incluyó estudiantes de ambos sexos, con edades comprendidas entre 18 y 30 años, matriculados en materias de tecnología educativa. Para la recolección de datos se emplearon cuestionarios con escala Likert validados mediante juicio de expertos, pruebas de conocimientos y rúbricas de evaluación académica. El procesamiento estadístico se realizó con los programas R y Microsoft Excel, mediante la prueba t de Student y el análisis de varianza (ANOVA). Los resultados evidenciaron mejoras significativas en el aprendizaje, con incrementos cercanos al 49 % entre la medición inicial y la final. En conclusión, la RA constituye una estrategia pedagógica con alto potencial para fortalecer el aprendizaje universitario cuando su integración se acompaña de planificación didáctica pertinente y desarrollo de competencias digitales docentes.
