Mecanismos de cambio en intervenciones conductuales para el trastorno de ansiedad generalizada: una revisión sistemática
Mechanisms of change in behavioral interventions for generalized anxiety disorder: a systematic review

El trastorno de ansiedad generalizada (TAG) es uno de los problemas de salud más comunes para el cual existe diferentes modelos de explicación y distintas formas de intervenir, sin una integración clara en los procesos que intervienen en el mismo. Identificar y sintetizar los mecanismos de cambio implicados en el éxito de las intervenciones conductuales para el TAG. Esta revisión sistemática de los últimos 10 años siguió el método PRISMA, se identificaron 1012 registros en tres bases de datos (Web of Sciencie, Scopus y PubMed), de los cuales 13 fueron incluidos para el estudio. Los mecanismos de cambio que mediaron la eficacia del tratamiento del TAG fueron la reducción de la evitación experiencial, la disminución de la intolerancia a la incertidumbre, el aprendizaje inhibitorio, la habituación, el descentramiento de pensamientos, la regulación emocional y el saboreo de emociones positivas. Estos hallazgos sugieren una intervención basada en procesos con la finalidad de que el consultante adquiera un repertorio de conductas de afrontamiento que modifiquen la relación con la sintomatología del TAG, mejorando la severidad clínica del mismo. Este estudio aporta literatura para la elegibilidad de procesos terapéuticos basados en evidencia, apoyando a una psicología más científica.
