Resumen

El síndrome de burnout es un problema creciente, caracterizado por agotamiento emocional, despersonalización y sensación de ineficacia personal, como respuesta al estrés laboral crónico. Desde su definición y la creación del Maslach Burnout Inventory, ha sido reconocido globalmente como amenaza para la salud ocupacional. En 2019, la OMS lo incluyó en la Clasificación Internacional de Enfermedades como un “fenómeno ocupacional”. Investigaciones internacionales muestran una prevalencia promedio del 40 % en profesionales de la salud. En México, los niveles varían entre el 35 % y el 47 %. En Tabasco, los reportes locales indican cifras superiores al 70 %, reflejando un grave problema de salud laboral. Afectando la eficiencia institucional y la calidad del servicio público. En organismos como el Sistema Federal Sanitario, las consecuencias pueden incluir errores en la supervisión, reducción del rendimiento y deterioro de la seguridad sanitaria, impactando directamente en la salud pública. Con el objetivo de identificar investigaciones que relacionan el síndrome de burnout y la regulación en el manejo de RPBI, se investigó a través de una revisión sistemática cualitativa de la bibliografía científica existente, utilizando la metodología PRISMA y la búsqueda en bases de datos académicas relevantes. Se observó que la investigación en este campo está liderada por académicos latinoamericanos, reflejando el interés y la relevancia que tiene el tema en la región.
